true, don't HAVE to fuel inject it, but there are very cheap EFI setups around.
if you have suck thru, you can't have an intercooler.
if you have blowthru, you have carb sealing and fulling things to play with.
with EFI, you play with arrow keys 
the last thin gyou want to do is keep blowing motors from poor fuelling. and a blow thru carb and rising rate reg may cost as much as cheap EFI?
my thoughts anyways
