That should be amended to "barely acceptable results" and "relatively cheap". People used to play with suck-through turbo setups because fuel injection was expensive, not because it was any good. Of course fuel injection isn't expensive any more; you'd be nuts to waste your time with a suck-through setup in this day and age.
