There is a fuse on the negative side, so all that needs to be done is connect the positive feed to an independant 12v+ source that is ignition switched. ie. an accessory Unlike the yank write up that is an essay, all you have to do is this. - Pull the foglight switch out - Pull out center console - Use a multimeter to work out which wire is 12V+ - Cut that wire - Run a new wire from the cut wire on the switch to the back of the cigirette lighter 12V+ - Tape up exposed cut wire This now gives you independant control of the driving lights whenever the ignition is in the accessories positon or when the car is running. The lights will turn off with the ignition regardless of the position the switch is left in (on/off). The driving lights will still turn on with the high beams selected. I only ever ran them around dusk just before i put the headlights up. And they look hella mean when they are on by themselves [Report message to a moderator]
