Well i went out and got a pitman arm puller after having a bit of a bash at it using the pole down thru the engine bay method.

As for using the pitman arm what a fantastic tool!! simple.

It also worked to seperate the idler arm from the steering rod.


Anthony, good to hear from you! Yeah the idler arm wasnt too bad to get, but it came with the bracket that bolts to tha chassis!! but bloody expensive at $100!! and the pitman was only $35!!

Whens the next wedding??!!
