i heard spark plugs make great sensors for this !!
Just drill and tap one into your fuel tank at the desired level, and apply high voltage.
I garentee you will know when the fuel gets low.
Matt
really?
the same way that increasing valve lash increases power?
and 18" rims make a car faster?
and Neons make your car faster cos it pushes it off the ground? (light speed!!)
and quad throttles on a stock motor will double your power?
wow, maybe you could use heat range 12 plugs for the level sensor, since they are so cold....
edit:
or maybe you could just have a bucket in the passenger seat so you can easily see when you are low??
but seriously, can't be that hard to use the original sender, depending on the resistance of the gauge, the sender and the light circuit...
