I never said that the turbo spinning at 80000rpm would be the same temp as 0rpm! What i said is the turbo is going to get hot in any state! And by that i mean that it will get hot enough to burn any oil sitting in the turbo and gum it up. I've said it before and i'll say it again, the turbo timer is meant to keep oil flowing through the turbo so that no oil will sit there and burn...
