Registered: May 2002	Re: Turbo for 4AGZE Fri, 12 July 2002 11:33 what a b@stard of a job, turning my ze into a te!! had to replace soooo many thing's off the ge to be able to run a turbo on the ze. changing the induction setup (inlet manifold, feul rail,throttle body, i'm useing the ge throttle body it's bigger) was no drama, but i had to use the feul lines to the feul rail cause they were different too, having to put all the other crap on took a bit of time (no wonder the shop's charge so much to do it!) the alternator i knew had to go where the s/c was, so i could tension the belt for the water pump, but then i had to change the water outlet from the head (it has two holes in it for the top alternator bracket) the pipe that run's along the back of the engine had to be changed as well. the aircon (i'm keeping it cause i like it!) has to have the ge braket put on, to be able to tension the belt, then the ze a/c compressor is no good (pulley offset is wrong!) blah, blah, blah. at the moment i'm running a n/a ze,(it is gutless!!) till i can get the turbo manifold made and turbo and exhaust done.
