I'll keep that in mind when it's time for new pads (should be soon). The handling isn't for everyone once you lower your car and ride on 17" rims. It's not very good fun being a passenger in my car (so I've been told by almost everyone who's ridden in it ), but on a smooth road, nothing beats it... Potholes really do suck though, especially mid-corner... True, huge rims don't equate to grip, but it's a LOT easier finding 7.5" wide rims when they're 16" or 17" in diameter... Wider tyres (with less sidewall flex) and lower profile allow you to get better grip and feel/feedback from your tyres. Depends on the weight of the car of course, if your car is light, you don't really want tyres that are too wide... It's true that they attract more attention though. That's something that I hate. Sometimes I wish that I did find a set of MA61 rims 'coz then I wouldn't worry about parking the car anywhere. There's a bit of comfort in the fact that rims in 114.3x4 and RWD offset aren't very high demand... Plus they're old, so there's less worth in them.... [Report message to a moderator]
