Fri, 12 July 2002 15:33 Hi i'm using stock HG with ARP's for several months now with a hiflowed ct26@16 psi,..so far so good,this is the second stock HG and the other was MHG,...last two blew coz the block was corroded and i never saw it (bastard)make sure that the head has'nt been cooked,other wise its like torqueing into butter(very important),i've got a MHG and i'm not using it coz i have'nt found someone to prepare the surface's the way the should,strange motor hey! BHG's all around...in my opinion,good surface prep, ARP's,80 to 85ft/lbs and uncooked head/block is the way to go....may God be with us....cheers. [Report message to a moderator]
