dude... much easier, cheaper and WELL DOCUMENTED conversion would be the 1G-GTE from a GA71 supra or similar.
These are a 2L, inline six twin turbo. HEAPS of people put them into their RA23/RA28 celica's (there are at least 5-7 on this forum i can name immediately)... and you having the 22R-E have similar engine mounts etc making it even simpler than into an old celica.
Reason being you already have an EFI tank, W55 gearbox (same externally as W58 AFAIK), and a strong(er) F series diff which can be upgraded to an LSD.
A decent 1G-GTE front cut will cost you less than $3000 easily, and will be 100000 times easier than the SR20DE. Faster too
