for $2k you could buy a decent small MIG and make your own!!! i'll make them up for you for $1k Very Happy

it really depends what the stock manifolds are like. as time goes on, and manifolds get better, the benefit vs cost decreases.

is the 2.5" restricting things? you could tap a line to the exhaust and see what back pressure you are getting? if there's no substantial pressure before the 2.5" section, then no need to change..
