For the alternator, I got out the welder and grinder, and welded a little number together to shove the alternator where the blower once went. By measuring this up carefully, it meant that 2 belts the same size could be used, one for alternator/water pump, and one for A/C (which also drives PS should I add that). All original pulleys are used, and you've always got a spare tensioner/belt attached to the AC if you need one. (Actually, I didn't tighten mine up and lost it on the road somewhere... but thats an entirely different story!) As for water pipes, I used the GZE thermostat housing upside down on the end of the water pump, it put the heater hoses in a nice place to get them to the heater/gas converter/turbo. Maybe not the tidiest conversion around, but hey, it works Oh yeah, its incredible how much those lumps of cast iron that both the blower and AC pump mount onto weigh!
