My old man is a wiz at tuning side draft carbies. I call him the man with the golden spanner, but I guess I am biased. If you get stuck, give him a call and he can show you how you can get them to sing using nothing but a screwdriver and a bit of garden hose.

He actually has a set of triple Delortos sitting around somewhere for his charger Evil or Very Mad

I wouldn't say keeping them in tune is easy, but if they are tuned well then you shouldn't have too much trouble keeping them there. They are definitly a lot more work than my wifes stocko XE fairmont. Actually I don't think the carby has been touched in the last 5 years.
