I reckon that racers should urge local MP's to do their bit. When the new strip at Eastern Creek is running, they should have street car meetings there every Friday night, with the usual competition type racing on weekends about every 3 weeks.
Of course it is never going to be enough for some!
I think that this would help competitors with less cars at each meeting, and less likely for people to miss out. Hopefully (dreaming?) that the price would be able to come down, making it more affordable.
