it could be done. the evo 8 still uses the same 4G engine.. my advice is to plan it out all. and study ive done a conversion and didnt know much about cars.. all i new was howto use a spanner and wrench. like everyone is saying here. your best bet is to just try. make sure you have - the tools, money, and support that can back you up if anything goes wrong or you end up getting stuck. so hit google, do some research on the 4G63. print out the notes for 4wd to fwd conversions etc. Then study more about your car. The mounting, chassis.. get an overall idea so that you can feel comfortable and know what to look for or what to work around. write a check list and keep logs of plans thoughts on the way.. when you have all the parts you think are needed then go for it [Report message to a moderator]
