ANYWAY, back to the original question!
I agree with TIM (RA2 , the Rhino alarm and central locking package from Dicksmith is very good quality for it's price. I bought the Rhino GT and dicksmith 4 door central locking kit for my TA22 for $150 and i installed it myself by the afternoon. It is extremely easy to install, i'm 17 and and have never done anything electrical to my car before (besides installing and un-installing numerous sound systems) and i had no problems whatsoever in installing it without any help. The most time consuming part is trying to find a place to locate the central locking plunger solenoid thingy so that it doesn't get in the way of the window when wound down (Don't forget this part!) and also so that it pulls at the right angle and in the right direction. Then you just have to drill the holes in the doors and put them in. The wiring itself is very straight forward, and it is all explained in great detail withing the instruction booklet. If you still can't figure it out and you do end up coming to canberra, i will even install it for you if you want! Anyway, the alarm itself is quite good, it has an immobiliser, and many other features you can read about at your local dicksmith. I can't remember all of them and i can't find my manual thing, but from memory it has an variable 8 stage sensitivity shock sensor, a voltage drop recognition thing (when interior light turns on from opening door, or when ignition is turned.) It even reckons it can recognise when someone tampers with the lock and it can tell when the lock is opened, causing the central locking to operate and it can tell from the voltage drop, but mine doesn't seem to work, maybe i have wired something up wrong? most likely. But anyway, it has proven very reliable and apart from that one little hitch, everything works exactly as it should, and i have had no problems with it. It also has many other features and all can be turned on or off as pleased. It also has many add-on features such as microwave sensors, movement sensors, boot release by the remote, and some others. Anyway, i sound like a Rhino salesman. I'll let you go to dicksmith's and take a look yourself.
