Thu, 04 September 2003 07:32 Billy-Mason PI, New cars usually come with black interceptors so you don't notice them through the hubcaps. If people are going to sell them they usually paint em silver so they look "less" boganish. I have seen one guy with chrome ones and I said to my bro who was with me "what a freakin' tool". For what he would have spent getting them chromed, he'd almost be able to buy a cheap set of mags. When I had my Calais, the alloys that came with it (non standard) had the wrong offset and hit the guards when my friend's fat girlfriend was in the back. I bought some interceptors that some guy was selling that he'd just had painted silver. The paint lasted 3 weeks before it started flaking off and you could see the original black underneath.
