Am just curious as i remember i read something that gave me the impression someone on here either worked at JP pistons, or had something to do with their work... ive tried search, but cant find it...
anyway - im just wondering exactly what kind of work they are capable of doing. they cast classic and historic pieces, i know, but i was wondeering if they can also do castings to custom requirements/designs, or even 'blanks' ie: cast pistons to a given bore/gudgeon pin/crown height but with a solid 'blank' top into which someone can then CNC or mill their own crown design and flycuts?
if someone knows, or if someone knows anywhere else that does this, please feel free to voice up
(and yes i realise the like of JE do this kind of thing )
