I wouldnt go back, for the price of highflowing & rebuilding the CT26, and still having a shithouse chunky design, i'd much rather go for one of Garrett's aftermarket GT25 turbos.

Sure, I dont disagree, the CT26 highflowed will flow shitloads up at the top of the revs if you pump some boost (20psi +), but why would you want to? Is this for a drag car? I dont imagine that you'd have a lot of room in an AE82 to make a decent manifold to fit a cumbersome oversized turbo like the CT26... leave it up to the 6 cylinder boys Smile

Outright power at the wheels is not the only aim if you want a quick and enjoyable street car. Its only fun for a while to play catchup, waiting for your car to make some decent boost while 'normal' cars get a 5 car jump on you 'cause you picked an inefficient turbo.
