um, ..., how do you check a steel canister filter??? Most professional repair shops won't warranty a job like this without replacing the fuel filters, for fear of introducing dirt into the new injectors, I suggest you go elsewhere to have them checked again?
My Celica was also hard to start, turned out to be leaking injectors, did the job properly and now it works perfectly.
