OK, here goes:
1G-GE: 114kW
1G-GTE: 157kW (less if earlier generation)
If I was to do all the work myself, I could prolly do a 1G swap for about $4k all up. If you're getting a shop to do it, I'd say about $7k-$8k would be about the right money.
What you need to do are:
Change radiator outlet (bigger radiator would be a good option too)
Put in EFI fuel lines
RA65 fuel tank
Engine mounts
New front swaybar
Wiring
Exhaust
Battery relocation
Miscellaneum: Timing belt, oil, oil filter, etc
You will also have to find a front sump unless you want to figure out how to make the mid-rear sump fit.
1G-GTE half cuts are around the $2.5k mark these days I think. Make sure you get a Gen3 if you get the turbo.
Also, get an RA6x crossmember and chop it up. Save the SA63 crossmember, sump, and oil pickup for someone who wants to do a 3S conversion... You could get some money back by selling that stuff.
