ok, without looking like im offesively shutting anyone down Rolling Eyes ....

decompression plates are the most god awful idea for trying to reduce detonation in a DIY forced induction engine (despite eveyone selling them)...

one of the single most important factors in detonation prevention and proper combustion, is adequate squish clearance - ie the space b/w your piston and the head. the closer, the better (like down to 0.030")

decompression plates actually expand the squish clearance. so despite lowering your static compresison ratio, it will actually PROMOTE detonation through improper combustion tolerances. BAD!!
