ah thanks, i bet that is what is wrong with the carbies. I think i will swap them and do that trick with the washers u mentioned aswell. This way il have the bigger venturi ones on the engine i want to keep.
also the green celica engine has a breather pipe off the side of the block and it goes into the intake manifold somewhere.
on the blue one this pipe isn't connected, and i cant see where it should be connected. There doesn't seem to be a spot on this manifold to connect the pipe.
any ideas?
