vin91 Regular Location: Darwin Registered: August 2003	Re: Gearbox Problems Wed, 10 September 2003 12:58 The Gearbox is a Three piece box IE the bellhousing, Case and Shifter Housing are all individual componants, The box is also a split case Aloy with the Reverse Directly under Fifth Gear. The shifter sits Forward of the output Shaft. Unsure spline count will check tomorrow and the Main problem is the Clutch fork is to wide to fit through the Hole and does not allow clearence for the Bolts that hold the Bellhousing to the Box. Standered celica bearings fit inside but the Celica Throw Bearing Mounts are about 3-4mm too big allowing the whole assembily to flop around. [Report message to a moderator]
