What about when the engine's already running and you turn the key all the way? I've tried it before, didn't sound too good... Yes, starter moter ticking over all the time, not good. My black celica stuck in on without me knowing, and I was driving along going, wtf is that noise? pulled over, turned off, had a look, couldn't see anything, started it up (somehow it stuck again, two times in a row...), still couldn't see anything, took off, 3 minutes later, poof, one dead starter moter. I was thinking, damn, should I pull over? I did, and as soon as I turned the key I knew what had happened, but by then the car was off and I couldn't turn it back on..... and I was about 40mins from home damnit, lol [Report message to a moderator]
