2T=1600cc, 8valves, OHV, carby. With 3T crank and bored to the max makes 2litres. Original 2T bore and stroke 85x70mm = 1600cc. Original 3T bore and stroke 85x78mm = 1800cc. With 3T crank and max bore 89-90x78mm. Only twin cam (also 8 valves) version is "Yamaha head" and only twin cam and 3T came with EFI. If your considering 2T into your AE86 (by the avatar) it's only reasonable if your considering also turbo/supercharger...
