when i rebuilt my motor, i heard many rumours such as, don't use any sunthetics for XX K's, and also don't use running in oil (too much wear initially)
i would love to hear from a proper engine builder out there (hint hint) as to what is the correct running procedure.
my cam guy also said that after running in, to only use good synthetic (non-aus penrite, or mobil 1) as the extra lobe forces will kill the cam and lifters with crappier oil....
help is much appreciated!!!
