Turns out that the Clutch fork and Throw bearing of the 4A gearbox is a perfect fit.
Any Answers?

You may have a 3T-C bellhousing (from a T18). I Have both a 3TC and a 4AC/G gearbox here, and the clutch forks are exactly the same, as is the throwout bearing carrier.
Was the original clutch fork that you were trying made of cast iron, or pressed steel?
Does your starter motor fit? Cause Ive had dramas before with different T series bellhousings having two types of starter motor, with different mounting bolt locations.
Cheers
Phil
