As far as I'm concerned, ASKING too much for something doesn't make anyone a "rippoff merchant". They have the right to ask any price they want, you have the right to go and buy somewhere else. I've bought 2 engines off them over the years, simply because they offered the best deal. The others I bought somewhere else, simply because someone else offered a better deal. Is this too hard a concept for you to grasp? Should every retailer out there cut their own throats on price and go broke so that you can get a good deal?? I don't think so!! As for all the "shit" about storing and stocking "crap", yes they do have a yard in Japan, they take it in turns to go over there to buy, strip and pack engines in containers. Any car that can be driven gets driven to make sure everything is ok before they pull the engine out. Is this a bad way to do it? Do you have any idea how much it costs to keep a yard like that in Japan? have you seen the photo's of the yard covered in snow on the web site? Wouldn't it be fun pulling engines out of cars in that! Nah, I'm probably wrong, you obviously have a good handle on it all. You've probably prepared a really slick business plan too. Go on, you and abaddon should put your heads together and start your own import business. Why not? go for it!! it's gotta be easy! Given that SSS have been in business for so long I get the feeling that maybe they aren't doing things all that badly. The fact that they chose to contribute financially to the club puts them in my good books and I'm happy to have them associated with the club. The fact that guys like you are associated with it is the damn shame. As for the $6000 for the GT4, if it's too much, go to Jap Performance or National Trucks and buy one. It's easy!
