shinybluesteel Forums Junkie I supported Toymods Location: melbourne Registered: June 2002	Re: AE86 clutch Mon, 15 September 2003 09:23 quick check to see if your clutch is knackered: drve along in first or seocnd gear, travel along at a constant 4000 rpm or so (or wherever your engine makes torque) then punch the accelerator to the metal, if your clutch is slipping it should rev out without making the car go much faster. i recommend you check out race brakes in flemington, i got a clutch for my 4AC from them, (i think they are the same clutch with either engine) and they charged less than burson's trade price. they'll probly be able to get you an uprated one pretty easily.
