I had the same problem some time ago. I went to Jap World at St Peters and got a pair from a wrecked Seca CSi for $40. Just make sure they give the the Seca Liftback struts and not Corolla hatchback struts cox they wont fit and are smaller.
How heavy is the hatch door eh? you got a fence pailing to hold the thing up when it's open?
