I after installing my mates headunit in his Camry, the environmental controls weren't working. Looked through the fuses and couldn't find anything (There wasn't a fuse just for those controls anyway, it was for all of the instruments). I had to pull out the headunit again Mad so I could get behind the heater controls. There was a wire running to the back of it that goes to a tiny bulb on a plastic bevel. I simply had to twist it and the plastic part with the bulb inside slid out. I pulled out the bulb itself, it had blown and was black, so it was simply a matter of going down to Repco and buying a new one for about $1.50.

Hope that helps!
