I have this same problem with my seca. Both my struts need regassing or new ones. I know re-gassing is about $80 so if I can pick up new ones from a wrecker for cheaper then I will do that. My boot hatch has fallen on my head several times and it tends to hurt a little espcially when its the little locking device. I now carry a wooden broom handle thing to hold it up everytime I want to get something out of the boot.
