If all you want is 150rwkw, drop in a gen 3 1G-GTE, good cooler and exhaust and run it at 14psi. It is a pretty straight forward conversion that has been done many times before. The engine is very tractable down low (easy to drive sensibly) and gives you the power you want with standard engine management.
