150rwkw is very doable with a 1G. My gen2 is running at 10psi (gen3's use 11psi as standard), has standard GA70 intercooler and 2.5in mandrel exhaust including a muffler. It puts out 120rwkw.

A better intercooler will give you less of a pressure drop, meaning that you can get the boost you want at the inlet without pushing the turbo's any harder than necessary.

Most people use a 3in straight through exhaust, but I like my cars a bit on the quiet side. Mine is a daily driver. Apparently bigger exhaust on a turbo car gives better power and turbo spool up. I guess it all depends on what your after.

Custom Y pipes from what I am told is very difficult on these motors because of how close the turbo's sit. If you figure out how to do one, I am sure a lot of people would be very interested. I know they make good gains on a 1JZ.
