It doesn't look like there was anything wrong with the switch.. I didn't take it out and check it, but it works perfectly now. I think it must have been a bit stuck/half-on or something as sometimes my knee knocks it on the dash. Very strange indeed... The biggest pain is that I took all the fuses out to check them because I've lost my fuse box cover (drivers side kick panel) and didn't know which was which. . [Report message to a moderator]
