apparently I've been told mechanics will charge around 1500 for the conversion. If you have all the gear yourself;
g-box (duh)
clutch
clutch lines
cms
pedal box
probably some other stuff I've missed
It's only a weekend or so of your time. I was going to swap the transmission from my black celica into it but I've decided to wait for a 1G conversion and put a w58 in then. But yeah, autoboxes in these celica's are craptacular, I cry out in pain at the time it takes to get them up to speed, and then they are screaming their tits off at 120kph
