let me guess who said that? Toyosports?  They're wrong! the weakest link is the conrods on the Aussie variant as the crank is billet/forged... how do I know? (homologation papers, rebuilds, etc Conrods are the only thing that has broken in 3 years of running the 7AFE @ 7500RPM in rallys.. broke them in a bad gear change taking the engine to 9,000+ what also stops it passing this is the weight and stroke of the things.(i'm not having a dig at you, T , just letting you know) Well all things aside, I have found a crank (but spun bearing!) no block, an also wanting to stroke my 7A out to 2L, may be a bit of colabritration?
