THERE IS ANOTHER DIFFERENCE between 18r and 18rg's

18rg's are built to go to around 8000 rpm, 18r's are not.

Hence, 18rg owners are usually advised to go for chrome rings, as the normal type rings can warp at high revs and high cylinder temps, this ends in tears.
