from what i've always heard or been told they have to show that you were doing the speed they say you were. As i had a nice argument with a cop once when he pulled me over after a race (stupid of me i know but hey i owned a series 4 rx7 turbo when i was 19) cop pulled me over and asked what speed i was doing and i said what i always say "atleast 60" which is never a lie and yeah in the end he had to let me go, although he made me sit there shitting my pants for nearly 20 mins. I won the race as well, hehehe stupid VK.
so i think your chances are pretty good. Was anyone else in the car with you? and was it only one cop?
if your alone it's more iffy as its your word vs his, but i still reckon you have a really good chance. Also go see Legal Aid if you can, they might even write a letter for you.
