AE86_Sprinter Regular Location: Perth, WA Registered: May 2002	Re: 3SGTE in 23 Need Help Fri, 19 July 2002 01:35 I am sort up up to speed on this as I am looking inot a 3SGE inot AE86 swap. As far as i know, you have to swap the ring gear around to line up with the starter, or you make a spacer up to move the starter out a bit, as well as machining 6mm off the bellhousing. You cannot bolt a flywheel on backwards, it just wont work. As a note of nterest, a bloke did this swap over here into a Ra28? or something, as well as doing this swap inot his own Hiace Van and did not machine the bellhousing.
