any interest from manufacturers yet?
it still looks a little "flimsy" to me, but if it works it works, i'd love to be able to see it in person.
good luck with it.
| Hello.
I suppose you didn’t see yet the http://www.pattakon.com/vvar/HelpRoll.htm page. Take a look at it. If you still think it is flimsy, how can Honda S2000 revs at 10.000 rpm? I prefer the other version with the “short push rods”.
And it is not only Honda.
Toyota has the Celica GTS (VVTLi), which can be improved too, as its character ‘all or nothing’ is not good, at least for long term use.
No interest from automakers yet, but as the new version with the rollers can be easily applied on new and old (there are millions of them) engines, in normally equipped machine shops, let automakers have no interest. If the system is as good as we claim, they will come sooner or later.
We insist in comparing the new system to Honda’s S2000 and Civic TypeR because they are the champions for the moment. And if someone claims he can improve the ‘champion’, he can improve every other engine too.
Thank you
Manolis Pattakos
