Speed Demon Regular Location: Melbourne Registered: May 2002	Re: Good performance shop (VIC) Tue, 30 September 2003 05:28 Actually i've already been around a bit, and local shops in my area are P.E.T., Promaz, etc., etc....and friends of mine hav been to both and i've gotten to know the people there quite well, and from my experience P.E.T. are only really proven to make tough VL's and anything with a Nissan engine in it....however i hav seen them do very few FWD cars....and in my mind they are not really interested nor are they proven to make a tough FWD car. Same goes for Promaz...my mate has a FWD Lancer and took it there to get an EVO motor put in. Although it is a nice job and conversion by Promaz, it cost my mate a fortune, and really he is not running the times that he wanted simply because Promaz aren't experienced enough in FWD conversions...i'm not saying they can't do it...but less face it, they are not known for any 11sec FWD cars. So basically i just need some help from u guys to find a shop that has built very fast FWD cars anything under the 13sec bracket would be awesome. Thanks again. [Report message to a moderator]
