just put a bucket on the opposide side of the car, and start washing away with the hose as normal.
if anyone queries you just say your trying to fill the bucket but someone put a goddam car in the way.
alternativley,
park on the lawn and starat washing away with the hose as normal,

hahaha classic!
Apparently there was a 10% increase in water usage over the last week.
I think sydney water needs to rethink its conditions.
i.e. cant use a sprinkler but you can stand in your garden with a hose for as long as you want???? sound stupid??
You can use a hose on the garden(grass), for no restricted amount of time, but you cant wash your car on the garden(grass)

That's why people have sprinklers, so they don't have to stand out there with a hose. They're lazy now, it's not going to change. 
And I thought I was hopeless with what a garden was. At least I know it's called a LAWN and not a garden when referring to the mass of grass you push your mower over. Unless you're into trimming the roses with the victa.
