Brake re-sealing... Thu, 02 October 2003 10:06 Go to previous message
Greets all!

I have a set of JZZ30 Soarer BIGer brakes Very Happy Very Happy to go on my UZZ31 and am about to re-seal them with the relevant Toyota kit, both fronts and back. In the kit there is a little satchel of pink grease - is that to be used within the cylinder or on the sliders or both? Do I need to use brake fluid anywhere in the re-assembly process?

Also, do I need to be worried about very minor scratches on the pistons??????

Thanks Y'all!!
AE.
