The green stuff are really good for everyday and hard driving. They don't really need to be warmed up, and keep on working the hotterr they get. I was giving my car a good thrash through the hills a couple of months ago when my passenger noticed some smoke coming up from the front - we pulled over and it was the brakes!!! Shocked - even in daylight they were a bluish colour and pretty hot. I hadn't noticed any loss in pedal feel or braking efficiency but backed off becuase I didn't want to boil the fluid or warp my rotors.

They do wear out your disks faster than normal shitty pads but for a heavy car like the Supra's I'd say they (or another good performance pad) are essential. Esp since the best i've ever been able to get from Bendix for the ma70 is "Std". Not cheap though. Other truly excellent pads I've had were called "Hawk" brake pads from the USA. Don't know if they were available in Supra sizes, but I had em on my 260Z and that used to STOP very very well.

On another note, moving to bigger calipers is all well and good, but if you can't get decent pads for them you're back to square one.
