the current range will be no longer, they will be replaced with LT8s, LTX8s, LT12s, LTX12s, they are a lot smaller than the current range as well, they are the same width but the same length as a LT4..
the processor speed is idential to a Motec, and the tuning will be better than the current range (user definable points etc), there is nothing wrong with the current range at all in the way they can be tuned, the new ecus resoultion will be to the power of 6 compared to the old ones, so they will be a lot more powerfull, at the moment the resoultion will go down to .01 when it needs to so that will give you a indication of how fine then new range will be.
im putting a LT8 on my girlfriends car (ep91 starlet) if i thought the LT8's wearnt good enough for it i wouldnt be putting one on it, all she wants is a little more power and the little turbo we have for it should do that, all i need is her in my ear about it!! LOL
the current range work a treat with the 4age's i have done 3 or 4 of them in all sorts of cars, even circuit cars, the racers that just love them, they cant believe the extra power that they got for so little money,
