If you get a diff out of an RN25 or 27 you wont need it to be shortened! I just got my hilux diff back today after getting TA22 mounts welded on. It cost me $200 which included getting some bearinsg press off some other things. You can get all different ratios and this will depend on what you want to do. I think the G series is an 8 inch.
