What exactly does haul ass mean? That it feels good from the drivers seat? Of course it will feel good on the "seat of the pants dyno" if you go suddenly from 50kw at the wheels at 3500rpm to 180kw at 4000rpm.
Sure, the CT26 will come on hell hard, and make good top end power, but they are still far from ideal. Great for a dyno mule setup.
This debate will go on forever... It pops up at least once a month, but in the end dude, its your car, and your driving style, so do whatever you feel will give you the package you're after. I've been down both paths (not "heard" from a mates mate), and can tell you that I wont go back to a high flow CT26.
