I'm using the Negative off the coil.
I'll try the igniter wire later on (read this weekend when I lower the car)

I also noticed this morning that the tacho just drops to zero then back again when cruising at about 2200rpm

I've got a few spare tachos, I might pull one apart and check it out (and maybe do somthing about the lights)

Would using the coil have some interfearance when used with an igniter?
